This is an obtain genre, for consideration.

The obtain service genre is authored to support content delivery applications relying on the two request parameters of “what do I want to get” and “how I do I want it to be presented to me”. The obtain service genre does not include additional functionality, such as multiple-resolution or content-dependent accessors. Other service genre used to delivery objects have different requests, and different ranges of legal return values. The range of contexts in which this particular service genre is not applicable is detailed under the Applicability element.
