Outcome From 12th Dec 06 Meeting

Members: Kerry Blinco, Jane Hunter, Lyle Winton, Jon Mason, Viji Gururajan

Lyle's Summary and Input (From email dated 18th Dec 06)

1. Microscopy - (Jane's idea) Tracking usage, administrative aspects .

2. Grant Management - (Lyle's suggestion) A very big SUM and will need team effort such as involving DEST, ARC, a number of Uni's, and a number of research groups). Perhaps a prototype to begin with.

3. Conference Management - (Jane's idea) Registration, publication, review, agenda (good workflow).

4. Journal Management - (Jane/Vigi's idea) look at IEEE journal publication process.

5. PhD or Honors Student Management - (Jane's idea) Combination of e-Learning and research.

Lyle's Summary (From email sent to Kerry Dated 16/01/07)

1. take the document and look for inconsistencies and fill things out a bit.

2. identify existing or missing e-Framework service genres.

3. give back to Jane and see what she wants to do with ontologies???

4. identify existing examples, service expressions that we can do.

5. probably look for interesting SUMs that span lots of these (can be

doing this in parallel).

Tele-Conference Meeting (Jon, Kerry, Lyle and Viji - Dated 22/01/07)

Viji's Summary

1. Viji to send a comparison document to the team.

2. Develop a list of question to ask Jane and Matthew (including ideas to explore and to get some feedback).

3. On going Friday meetings between Lyle and Viji to explore possibilities of new SUMs.

4. Viji to set up this e-Framework wiki trac to document these discussion.

5. Lyle to develop MAMs SUMs.
